Declaring Bankruptcy With Buddha

Declaring bankruptcy is just an act which culminates a long series of events, decisions, actions, feeling, and relationships in people’s lives. It is good to minutely understand those decisions that got you here. It could not be all bad, you know. I mean we are all doing our best and I do not believe for one second that you were doing less than your best. Life happens. It’s the first noble truth. The Buddha taught four noble truths. Buddhism is so misinterpreted much of the time. People believe that Buddhism teaches that life is suffering. That is not true. The opposite is true. The first noble truth has been interpreted incorrectly. The Buddha said that ‘life happens’, it happens to all of us, no one is exempt. And so it is not something to be ashamed of or embarrassed by. It is to be felt completely, accepted fully and learned from. Life happens, things arise, it happens to all of us. Learn. Be aware. Awareness is the key to learning. How many times, looking back into my life, do I see a woman, a young girl, who was not aware, who was afraid to be here now fully. Feel your reality.
