If I were considering bankruptcy I would want to go on the next trip to the moon. I would want to leave right now. I think I would be ‘out of my skin’, ‘besides myself’, ‘out of my mind’. Do you notice that all of these well worn phrases, these colloquialisms with which we are so familiar, all refer to being out of our body? I find that very fascinating. What is meant by these phrases that refer to being out of the body? Are they talking about our ‘soul’? Is some aspect of soul or spirit being referred to or is this referencing the emotional-mental body? And, while we are talking about it, what is our emotional-mental body? Soul, spirit, emotional-mental body – are we talking about anything of substance here? Is the body ‘of substance’ if there is no soul, spirit, emotional-mental life force within it? And what is meant by ‘of substance’? Well, I am speaking of the ‘of substance’ that has meaning for myself. A body without breath, without ‘espiritu’ is a body without life. SO life is breath. And what is breath? Where does it come from? I would rather be out of my mind than out of my breath!
